Common name:Upright Maiden Grass
Botanical name:Miscanthus sinensis 'Gracillimus'

The 'Gracillimus' is a taller variety, often growing to 6'-8' tall with delicate feathery plumes and very thin graceful leaves. It should receive sun to part shade, and average to little summer watering. Tall grasses are highly combustible.

Botanical name:Magnolia stellata

This slow-growing, shrubby, deciduous Magnolia has narrow leaves about 4" long and 1" wide. These fragrant, white flowers bloom in the early spring before leaves appear. Flowers have 19-21,star-shaped petals. It takes about 3 years before first bloom appears but it is well worth the wait. This tree reaches 10' tall and 20' wide. Frost can destroy blooms. Star Magnolia looks great in the entryway or patio where you can see the blooms.

Don Juan Climbing Rose

Botanical name:Rosa 'Don Juan'

With its dark green foliage and fragrant flowers of a full, double, velvety dark red color, this upright shrub is generally grown as a vine or pillar rose.
