Botanical name:Cistus X hybridus

This is a small evergreen shrub with 2" long gray green, crinkly leaves. It has pure white flowers with prominent yellow stamens. It flowers throughout the spring to early summer. Avoid heavy mulches. .

Pink Muhly Grass

Common name:Pink Muhly Grass
Botanical name:Muhlenbergia capillaris

Mounding grass grows quickly to 3' x 3'. Leaves are medium green and turn tan in fall. Pink airy plumes appear in fall. Place plants where pink flower plumes can be backlit by the sun. Look for selections with deep pink flower plumes. Accepts full sun or partial shade. Very frost tolerant. Prune in early spring for best looking new growth. Native to Texas and Mexico.

Botanical name:Ipomoea purpurea

This vine will reach about 15' in length in no short order and has medium sized, green leaves with blue, violet, and purple flowers that bloom in summer. This is a very fast growing plant and can be invasive. Best used in a place where you can let it go wild.

Botanical name:Juniperus X 'Pfitzeriana'

Juniperus chinensis 'Pfitzeriana' grows 5'-6' high and 10'-12' wide. This shrub has arching, feathery, gray green foliage. Junipers are highly combustible plants.
