Breakers Bearded Iris

Common name:Breakers Bearded Iris
Botanical name:Iris bearded 'Breakers'

This bearded Iris can grow up to 36" tall. It has blue violet blooms that are ruffled and profuse. These flowers are fragrant and make great cut flowers. The stalks are well-branched. For best growth, it needs well drained soil and fertilizer 3 times a year, first before blooms, then after blooms and then in the fall.

Cloth of Gold Yarrow

Common name:Cloth of Gold Yarrow
Botanical name:Achillea 'Moonshine'

Long, straight stems with pale yellow flowers are apparent on the mats of green to grey-green leaves of this plant, which are flatter and less divided than those of the Achillea millefolium. The yarrow propagate easily from rooted cuttings or division, which should be performed in the early spring or fall. Following bloom, one should dead head the plant and divide the clumps when it appears crowded.

Bloodgood Japanese Maple

Common name:Bloodgood Japanese Maple
Botanical name:Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood'

'Bloodgood' slowly grows to 20'-25' high and 20' wide. Deciduous, toothed, lobed leaves are red in spring and summer, changing to scarlet in fall. This popular Japanese maple needs protection from drying winds and full sun in hot summer areas. It does well in dappled shade. It needs well draining, moist, acidic soil. This is a spectacular tree all 4 seasons.
